不再只是平面的Google地圖 - Google Earth 遊覽器外掛
網頁的地圖還是平面的嗎? 早在 2006 年微軟的 Virtual Earth 就提供遊覽器內的 3D map , 可惜 VE 台灣的資料少少, 只有英文地圖, 無建物 blahblah… 在台灣大家還是喜歡用 google map 和 urmap , 有較多在地資料.
就在不久前, Google 發表 Google Earth Browser plugin , 如同 Virtual Earth 一樣, 可以在網頁上顯示 Google Earth , 有衛星圖, 路線圖 (註) , 也有建築物的圖層, 完全就是網頁版本的 Google Earth .
先到官網下載 plugin 安裝, 現在只支援 IE6 / IE7 / firefox 2.x on windows , 就可以在網頁上觀看 3D 地圖了. 雖然要等網站主更新 API , 但我想沒多久大家都會更新吧 :p

註: api 裡有 LAYER_ROADS, 但我現在叫不出來
